Should A 2nd Son be Named After the Father if the First Son Was Given No Special Name?
January 24th, 2012The 1st son is 2 1/2 and from a previous marriage. We are the grandparents and feel this could have a negative effect on our grandson in regards to his importance, especially since our son has very little contact with him already.
Unfortunately, you are correct, but there isn’t anything that you can do. If your son wants to name his second son after him, then he already loves his second son more. Its wrong, but its your son’s choice. He’s the father of the other boy; therefore, he has to make the decision of whether he wants to take responsibility and be a good father for him or not. You cant make him. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t talk to him about it; I’m just saying that its his choice.

I think my eldest son is becoming an atheist what can I do?
January 12th, 2012My son is 16 years old and I think he might be becoming an atheist. He seems to present all of their symptoms. He has come home with A+ in math class( Which uses logic and not our kind of christian logic) and he seems to have become a bit more sarcastic for example when I asked him if the computer power button can also turn off the computer he said "Nope if the computer is on and you press the power button it throws confetti at you."
I later found out it doesn’t…….
Yes, he does seem to be on the path to atheism. I recommend a swift beating with a large Bible. That should do it. Then ground him until he is willing to tell you he loves Jesus.

As I understand it, one portion of this he inherited as his father’s first-born and the other was divinely bestowed. His double-portion came to him as to his father, i.e., one part by the natural law of primogeniture (i.e. the right to the first born) and one part from the God of his fathers.
So both portions so far as Manasseh is concerned, are indicated in the above quotation.. first when he is made joint heir in the racial birthright with his younger brother Ephraim and secondly when he is spoken of as the first-born of Joseph..
In conclusion, because it varies from patriarch to patriarch in the Bible, part of it is primogeniture and part of it is of divine ruling.. (like in the case with Judah and his wicked sons..)
I am disappointed that my eldest son doesnt like celebrating?
December 31st, 2011birthdays..if i even send a card he doesnt want to know ,he says he has no interest other than that he is very generous really love me as a mother but i feel hurt am i justified.
Aknowledge is the word rather than celebrate i should have used he is in early 40,s i am in my 60,s

Why did Kim Jong-un become leader of North Korea instead of the eldest son?
December 29th, 2011In Asian history and many others, normally the eldest son becomes king after their king father’s death/retirement. But why didn’t kim jong -nam become leader of north korea?
2nd question- Is kim Jong-un like his father or would he be a better leader?
